- README for PortScanner 1.2
- --------------------------
- This port scanning program was created because there were no really good
- portscanner I written in C that had the level of verbosity I expected from
- a good scanner. Furthermore, I know of no other C scanner so simple and
- small, with this many features. The program is intended to test security
- by provinding a list of the listening TCP ports, including those with
- probable security hazards attached to them.
-
- If you want to contribute more code to the program, do so, but YOU MUST
- inform the author and give him a copy of the new code, and make the
- sources public mentionning the original auhtor(s).
