  14. This port scanning program was created because there were no really good
  15. portscanner I written in C that had the level of verbosity I expected from
  16. a good scanner. Furthermore, I know of no other C scanner so simple and
  17. small, with this many features. The program is intended to test security
  18. by provinding a list of the listening TCP ports, including those with
  19. probable security hazards attached to them.

  21. If you want to contribute more code to the program, do so, but YOU MUST
  22. inform the author and give him a copy of the new code, and make the
  23. sources public mentionning the original auhtor(s).
